We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a Nurse Specialist II, you will provide direct patient care in our specialty unit, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual assessments to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition as necessary, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, precepting student nurses and new hires as needed.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education and support to promote optimal health and well-being.
- Accredited nursing program and current RN licensure in the State of Florida.
- One year of nursing experience, with a focus on oncology care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and other specialized certifications as required by the department.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to biohazardous waste, communicable diseases, and other hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be able to lift and carry patients and equipment, with regular standing, walking, and sitting.
