About the Role

THERAPY 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in the North Houston area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, utilizing clinical judgment and expertise.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs, promoting patient independence and progress.
  • Act as a vital member of patients' medical teams, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork requirements.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • A current and active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit, complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and flexibility.
  • Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptops, email, and web browsers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in a home-health setting, with a focus on pediatric patients.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties, such as high-risk infant care.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
