Job Summary

We are seeking a Multi-Purpose Clerk to join our team at one of our stores. As a Multi-Purpose Clerk, you will be responsible for promoting sales, answering customer questions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will work in one of several departments, including Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the checkstand and process customer transactions
  • Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy and quality
  • Stock, rotate, and merchandise product to maintain freshness and department appeal
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer requests
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of related experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self-motivation
  • Capability to be proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible on the job
Physical Demands

The Multi-Purpose Clerk position requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis, and requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
