Job Summary

The Global Sales Associate role is primarily responsible for providing administrative support to the Alhworld Global Sales Network Team. This position reports to a Director of Global Sales, with a dotted line to the Vice President of Administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Global Sales Network Team, including maintaining office supplies, drafting correspondence, and compiling expense reports.
  • Salesforce Management: Track and manage collection of pick-up information and record in Salesforce, update contacts, build accounts, and enter leads and responses.
  • Database Management: Maintain opportunity profiles for Sales Executive account base, create and update forecasts and forecast notes, and perform database clean-up and research as needed.
  • Member Communication: Send leads with customer-specific information, follow up on proposal deadlines, and communicate lost updates to members.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with event-related tasks and special projects, such as mailers and event marketing.

Requirements

  • A minimum of experience in a Global Sales Office (GSO) or Hotels Sales office, as well as a college degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maneuver around and work in sales-specific databases.
  • Working knowledge of Publisher, Adobe, and SharePoint is preferred.
