About the Role

Saputo is a leading global dairy processor, and we're seeking a skilled Packaging Worker to join our team. As a Packaging Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our cheese production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular product inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Set up and operate hand cutters and/or harps to meet production requirements.
  • Control weights at the cutter to minimize labor requirements and reduce waste.
  • Separate, label, and record different types of trim accurately.
  • Maintain accurate and legible records and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with end-of-line personnel to ensure accurate and complete orders.
  • Perform other duties as required by management.
Requirements
  • Experience in food production is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand production schedules and product specifications.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use a knife and perform basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math and follow instructions.
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift objects weighing 25-50lbs.
