Biomedical Device Sales Representative

Our client, a pioneering medical innovator, is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join their team. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for generating sales of the company's product portfolio in your assigned geographic territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and nursing staff to ensure appropriate use of the company's FDA-cleared products.
- Communicate complex clinical data to assist surgeons in selecting the most suitable product for patients based on their co-morbidities and wound classifications.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to achieve successful outcomes for hospitals, surgeons, and patients.
- Develop business plans to meet short-term revenue objectives while optimizing longer-term opportunities in your geographic area.
- Maintain and update the company's CRM database with current hospital and surgeon information in your area.
- 7+ years of experience in the life science industry, preferably in the biologics space, with a focus on hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, and breast reconstruction.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical needs and mechanisms of action of host response to biologic implants.
- Ability to identify new market opportunities for biologic constructs based on unmet needs of general and reconstructive surgeons.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to formulate business solutions for various challenges.
This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel. The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and will be subject to DMV and other required background and reference checks.
