Key Responsibilities:
The Member Engagement Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the entire Business Development Team and Branches, including but not limited to:
- Identifying and prospecting new business accounts.
- Understanding member needs and aligning them with Lafayette Federal's offerings.
- Bringing in new Select Employee Groups (SEGs) to expand eligibility.
- Promoting and selling Lafayette Federal's loan, deposit, and savings products.
- Assisting in efforts to enhance product utilization among new and existing members.
- Collaborating with assigned branches to achieve sales targets through cross-selling existing products and exploring new opportunities.
- Representing the credit union at business development events, including community and networking events.
Requirements:
The Member Engagement Specialist will:
- Organize and implement membership retention initiatives among existing SEGs and community charters, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication.
- Actively seek new business accounts and services, including business checking, remote deposit, ACH services, payroll services, and business loans.
- Develop and adapt strategies to achieve membership growth and profitability goals aligned with the credit union's strategic plan.
- Stay informed about best practices in member service within the banking industry.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to create promotional materials aimed at increasing member engagement with credit union products and services.

Compensation: $58,740 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Location: This position will report to our headquarters.
