Job Title: Small Engine Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Mechanic to join our team at BrightView Landscapes, LLC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for the service and repair of outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, string trimmers, gas sheers, and chain saws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine engine maintenance, such as oil changes and sharpening mower blades
  • Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts; Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
  • Reassemble and reinstall components and engines following repairs
  • Keep records of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used
  • Keep shop clean of debris and hazards
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping equipment repair, on-site troubleshooting, and diagnostics
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Small Engine (2-cycle and 4-cycle) maintenance and repair experience
  • Valid Driver's License (REQUIRED) with Chauffeur's Endorsement (Preferred)
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • Ability to load/unload trailers (up to 50 lbs)
  • Ability to bend, stoop and twist continuously throughout the day
  • Practice workplace safety
  • Must be punctual and reliable
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
  • Trailer Maintenance and repair experience
  • Welding experience
