Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Professional- Certified

About the Role:

Therapeutic Health Services (THS) is seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Professional- Certified (SUDPC) to join our Shoreline Team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including screenings, evaluations, assessments, and individual, group, and family counseling.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each participant.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services, including therapy groups and family counseling.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor to strengthen skills and complete necessary training hours for SUDP certification.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notations, and discharge summaries.
  • Provide advocacy, case management, and information and referral services to participants.
  • Participate in THS committees as assigned and complete Relias trainings as required.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field from an accredited college/university OR two years' experience in counseling, case evaluation, staffing presentations, and record keeping.
  • Maintain Substance Use Disorder Professional certification per WAC and possess the SUDP credential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in chemical dependency, family dynamics, and counseling.
  • Able to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain a professional image within the community.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and computer proficiency, including electronic medical records systems.
