About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Clinician to join our dynamic team at Sound. As a key member of our comprehensive co-occurring outpatient setting, you will play a vital role in providing substance use disorder treatment to individuals who are self-referred or involved in the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct intake evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with ASAM criteria.
  • Provide direct services, including individual and group therapy, and internal and external organization referrals.
  • Develop and implement recovery plans, ensuring clients achieve their goals and become healthy and engaged members of their community.
  • Collect urine samples, process lab paperwork, and send to lab as required.
  • Prepare necessary reports, summaries, and progress notes, and incorporate them into clinical records.
  • Perform consultations and liaison duties with other agencies and resources on behalf of clients.
  • Monitor medication regimens and treatment compliance, in collaboration with prescribing physicians.
  • Monitor utilization of services and the success of outcome measures.
Requirements
  • Requires at least an AA degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field.
  • Requires a minimum of one year of clinical experience as a clinician or case manager and demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and treatment plans.
  • Washington State DOH SUDP/T certification required.
  • Must be able to obtain a WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within the first 60 days of hire.
