Once the custom PCB designs and drawings are approved, the designs will be manufactured and integrated at the system level.

The individual will need to generate complete electrical drawing packages to support component procurement, PCB/MCM/substrate fabrication, assembly, and electrical inspection to ensure accuracy and completeness of each design prior to system integration and test.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with engineers to gather documentation of critical system components, requirements, environmental constraints, estimated size, weight, and power, and schedule.

  • Develop complete electrical drawing packages to support component procurement, PCB/MCM/substrate fabrication, assembly, and electrical inspection.

Requirements:

  • Current experience with Mentor Graphics Expedition, DxDesigner & AutoCad.
  • Experience with high-speed, multi-layer, digital, analog, RF, flex, controlled impedance, differential, and mixed signal designs.
  • Demonstrated ability to design MCMs and work in various advanced RF dielectrics and substrate technologies.
  • 10+ years relevant CAD experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SolidWorks, Mentor DxDataBook, and CES (Constraint Editor System).
  • IPC CID or CID+ certification.
  • Experience working with electronics fabrication and assemblies facilities from preliminary quoting to final inspection after assembly.

Education:

  • BS or Trade School plus 10 years minimum experience.
  • An interim clearance is sufficient to start for this position.

Work Environment:
