Job Title: Senior Account Executive

Meriplex is seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our sales team. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and building upon existing client relationships to sell and upsell across their organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to all assigned customers, measured in team and individual scorecard dashboards.
  • Perform successful negotiations for competitive solution renewals and proposals, highlighting Meriplex's strategy of mutual business value.
  • Proactively perform multiple customer outreach and sales activities, with a focus on face-to-face or virtual interactions.
  • Utilize CRM to provide accurate, timely, and detailed forecast funnels of opportunities to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Interact with key stakeholders to ensure renewal and/or drive new sales through the finish line.
  • Build and maintain rapport and trust within the organization through frequent communication, responsive ownership of deliverables, and respect for colleagues.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge about Meriplex products, services, and solutions.
  • Active participant in training sessions targeted at the sales team.
Requirements:
  • Hunger to meet and exceed goals through strategic planning and superior relationship management.
  • Comfortable with highly visible funnel management and closed opportunities scorecard dashboards.
  • Proactive nature to develop business opportunities independently.
  • Proficient at handling escalated and/or elevated customer negotiations with professionalism.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college preferred, with a degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field highly preferred.
  • 6+ years of B2B sales experience required, with 3+ years of WAN, Managed Services, Professional Services, and Unified Communications network and consulting sales experience required.
Benefits and Compensation:

Meriplex employees receive a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, group term life insurance, 401K, plus PTO, holiday pay, and referral bonuses. Current pay range: $100,000-$135,000 annually.
