Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharma Event Manager to join our team at ITA Group Inc. As a key member of our Event Management division, you will be responsible for coordinating the operation of pharmaceutical Advisory Boards, Investigator Meetings, Speaker Trainings, and Congress engagements for our Life Sciences clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans for assigned programs, leading a multi-functional team of subject matter experts to ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
  • Provide quality control by reviewing and approving all deliverables, including proposals, specification documents, contractual documents, and reports.
  • Foster team-building and resolve account-level issues, ensuring clear understanding of client expectations and positioning ITA Group as an extension of our clients' business.
  • Establish expectations with client stakeholders, confirm program pricing, and manage program budget and cash flow.
  • Negotiate land arrangements, manage compliance guidelines, and take ownership of thorough client intelligence.
  • Make necessary program changes, communicate with AE, client, suppliers, and internal staff, and conduct Post-Program Review Meetings.
  • Consult with Buyers to conceptualize, research, and formulate destination and hotel recommendations for future programs.
  • Participate in travel opportunities, alert AE and Team Lead to cross-selling opportunities, and confer with Manager to review workload and challenges.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Public Relations, or Communications required.
  • Three years of experience in the group travel industry or a minimum of two years in ITA Group's Event Management division.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle numerous projects, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in negotiations, financial and accounting principles, and CRM system knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent human relations skills, ability to think and act proactively, and willingness to try new ideas.
