Work Overview

This role involves progressively responsible duties at the Sevierville Convention Center, overseeing small teams engaged in various semi-skilled and skilled tasks necessary for hosting diverse events, including conventions, tradeshows, and entertainment activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise teams in specific areas such as:
    • Grounds and landscape upkeep
    • Irrigation system management
    • Cleaning and custodial services
    • Event preparation and clean-up

Conduct all levels of repair, replacement, renovation, and installation work related to plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance, including:

  • Plumbing fixtures and fittings
  • Framing, paneling, and door installations
  • Electrical lighting and switch systems
  • Surface preparation and painting
  • Air conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting

Manage the procurement of necessary supplies and materials to carry out these responsibilities effectively. Oversee the setup and dismantling of events and supervise temporary labor during events.


Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License and have at least 2 years of experience in facility operations and maintenance, particularly in plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems. Supervisory experience is also required.
