Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the brewery and distribution warehouse, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the warehouse team and ensure that tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Manage workflow and assign tasks to team members based on production schedules and manifest lists.
  • Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments, including raw material receipts and outbound international and domestic shipments.
  • Train new team members on warehouse functions, including safety procedures, AX/WAX system, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor and schedule maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Assign team members to specific duties, such as verifying amounts of incoming shipments, assembling customer orders, and inventory control processes.
  • Review bills of lading for incoming shipments and outgoing customer orders to ensure accuracy and plan work activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare and submit documentation, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and tracking warehouse inventory.
  • Coordinate activities with sales, production, and accounting departments to ensure availability of materials.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and overall physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
  • Track and review performance through safety inspections, Gemba Walks, audits, and daily shift meetings.
  • Address performance issues and conduct annual performance evaluations for team members.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • At least 5 years of related experience and/or training in a warehouse environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual Salary: $67,000.
  • Bonus Plan: 2.5% of Annual Salary.
