We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Staff to join our team at Troon Golf. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
  • Cleanliness and Appearance: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior and interior areas of the facility, including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
  • Supply Management: Identify and report needed supplies to supervisor, ensuring that all necessary materials are available to maintain the facilities.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly.
  • Security and Safety: Check and respond to security and safety issues, ensuring the safety of our members and guests.
  • Inventory Management: Keep an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are available.
  • Training and Development: Train junior staff, if applicable, and participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Associates degree or two years of related experience associated with building maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Possesses knowledge in operating electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and pool equipment.
  • Commercial Painting Experience: Experience with commercial/building painting.
  • Reliability: Regular and reliable attendance.
