About the Role:

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Host Hostess to provide exceptional resident services during meal periods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.
  • Perform and assist with pouring/providing beverages and other service and bussing functions as necessary.
  • Monitor seating flow, dining room services, and food availability on an ongoing basis to ensure prompt and courteous dining service.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High School diploma preferred/GED accepted.
  • One (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
