Position Overview

Introduction

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is on the lookout for enthusiastic, organized, and skilled early childhood educators to contribute to our mission.

We have an opening at the Mary Stuart Gile Early Learning Center for an Associate Educator.

This role is essential in promoting and executing the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster an environment conducive to achieving Youth Development Outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship and serve as a role model.
  • Establish and uphold program objectives.
  • Utilize child observation documentation for curriculum design.
  • Supervise the application of educational standards.
  • Administer medications and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Assist in maintaining a well-organized classroom environment.
Qualifications
  • Must possess qualifications as an associate teacher in child development or early childhood education.
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours of experience in a licensed educational setting.
  • Familiarity with educational methodologies and curriculum development.
  • Ability to cultivate positive relationships with children.
  • Must acquire CPR and First Aid certifications.
Compensation and Benefits
  • This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
