Key Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional customer service by answering questions and making recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood products.
  • Weighs, packages, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood, including grinds.
  • Inspects and stores meat upon delivery, ensuring it meets or exceeds company quality standards.
  • Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department.
  • Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
  • Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines is a plus.
  • At least 18 years of age.
Work Environment

This role is located in a comfortable indoor area with infrequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. You will be required to move about frequently on hard surfaces and may need to occasionally position yourself to examine or scan merchandise.
