Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and room patients, obtaining medical history and vital signs as needed
  • Stock and clean exam rooms, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Perform phlebotomy and medication injections as directed by providers
  • Process and maintain integrity of all specimens according to established protocol
  • Document patient information in electronic medical records
  • Assist with patient education and discharge instructions
  • Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting; phlebotomy experience a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records
