Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutrition-focused physical assessments and formulate nutrition diagnoses to identify malnutrition.
  • Develop and implement effective nutrition plans of care, including medical nutrition therapy, to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide timely interventions and ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Mentor and train dietetic students, interns, and support personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Participate in departmental initiatives and committees to drive evidence-based practice and improve nutrition care processes.
  • Develop and disseminate educational materials and presentations to promote health literacy and support patient education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with 2 years of clinical nutrition experience and a registered dietitian certification.
  • OR Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with 1 year of clinical nutrition experience and a registered dietitian certification.
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and Registered Dietitian (RD) certifications.
  • Act 34 clearance.
