Key Responsibilities

  • Exemplifies the core values of Tower Saint John's Imaging, including quality, safety, teamwork, accountability, integrity, and respect.
  • Oversees the opening of the office and ensures that all essential supplies are readily available.
  • Welcomes patients and gathers required information, accurately entering data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensuring patient records are complete.
  • Collaborates with medical technologists to facilitate services as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Provides administrative support and coordinates with colleagues to deliver timely and precise services.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information and documentation.
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of responsibilities.
  • Delivers outstanding customer service to all patients and visitors.

Core Duties

  • Adheres to all regulations regarding the confidential management of company and patient information, including compliance with HIPAA and other privacy standards.
  • Communicates courteously and effectively with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Utilizes strong writing and verbal skills to ensure all communications are clear, accurate, and professional.
  • Stays informed about company policies and procedures to provide accurate information.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One to three years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience. Experience in insurance billing is preferred.

  • Equipment Proficiency: Competent in using office equipment such as computers, copiers, and fax machines; skilled in data entry.
