Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at AirBorn Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing new manufacturing processes, as well as improving existing ones to ensure high levels of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Ensure Total Effective Manufacturing Cell readiness for new product and process introductions, including PFMEA, FLOW, STANDARD, ROUTING, and SAFETY.
  • Develop and communicate project updates and progress to leadership, highlighting measurable improvements.
  • Apply DMAIC and A3 problem-solving methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Design, develop, and implement new and existing manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain CAPEX plans for current and future manufacturing process needs.
  • Implement and validate new equipment and processes, developing validation plans as needed.
  • Analyze production trends to identify areas for improvement and develop corresponding plans.
Requirements
  • Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Three plus years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Lean methodologies and Six Sigma knowledge, with experience in digital factory connectivity.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts, such as probability and statistical inference, and apply them to practical situations.
  • Self-motivated and effective time management skills, with experience in project management.
