Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of LVNs to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality outcomes and improve patient satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching and training to LVNs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and staff development.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in an ambulatory care setting or similar setting.
  • California State Board LVN License required.
  • Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
  • Graduation from a recognized practical nursing program.
  • High School Graduate (or GED equivalent).
  • Ability to travel as needed within San Diego County.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Read, Speak & Write) in English/ Spanish.
  • Effective training and coaching skills; ability to drive results and achieve objectives through others.
  • Knowledge of child, adolescent, and adult health care issues.
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and techniques, including performance management and employee development.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent sitting, occasional standing, and walking. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds is required. The work environment is a fast-paced healthcare setting with frequent interruptions.

We offer a competitive salary range of $37.65 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience.
