Job Title: Addictions Physician

VCU Health is seeking a highly skilled Addictions Physician to join our team in Richmond, VA.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide addiction services to patients at VCU Health System and teach addiction psychiatry/medicine to medical students, residents, fellows, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Administration: Develop and deliver educational materials, lectures, and evaluations for trainees.
  • Clinical: Provide addiction medicine services and work with patients with addictions.
Requirements:
  • U.S. medical degree or equivalent (M.D. or D.O.)
  • Virginia license/licensure-eligible
  • DEA certification
  • Board eligibility or certification in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment
