We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a plan of care for specific patient populations, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.
  • May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training programs.
  • Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.
Requirements
  • TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist (Required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - North Carolina
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist - State license - Other/National
  • Ventricular Assist Device Certification (VAD-C) - Certification - ICCAC Operating Room
