Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely dispensing of prescription medications
  • Operate the claim adjudication system to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement
  • Counsel patients on the proper use of medications and provide health advocacy
  • Liaise with patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Make clinical decisions on each prescription, including drug-drug interactions, drug-disease-state checks, and allergy profiles
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with a Bachelor's or advanced degree
  • Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide direction to pharmacy staff
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Working Conditions:

The PT Pharmacist will work in a clean, well-lighted, temperature-controlled environment with minimal lifting requirements. The position requires standing for extended periods and the ability to reach and retrieve medication from floor to overhead levels.
