Job OverviewWe invite you to continue your healthcare career with us at the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Registered Nurse. This position is located in Dallas, Texas, and offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job SummaryThis RN will collaborate and coordinate care for Myeloma, Lymphoma, and Leukemia patients. The successful candidate will work closely with other clinics, schedulers, certified medical assistants, support services, financial teams, intake personnel, providers, and patients to ensure smooth, efficient, and empathetic care.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain adequate stock of supplies and create a safe environment for patient needs.
- Facilitate patient scheduling for tests and visits.
- Complete billing for nursing procedures, including infusion therapy.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during physical exams and medical procedures.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Take, record, and report patient vital signs using medical equipment.
- Inspect equipment and facilities visually and physically to ensure patient safety.
To be considered for this role, you must have a graduate degree from an approved/accredited nursing program and a current Texas (or BNE Compact State) nursing license. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is also required.
