Job Summary

The Medical Director of Quality Management is a key leadership position at Community Behavioral Health, responsible for overseeing the quality of care provided to our members. This role requires a strong medical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided to members
  • Provide medical leadership and oversight to the Quality Management department
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality of care concerns
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives
  • Present quality improvement reports to the CBH board of directors and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in psychiatry required
  • PA Medical License required
  • Minimum of 3 years post-residency experience in quality management or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification
  • Experience in quality management or a related field
Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel within Philadelphia and surrounding counties. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
