Key Responsibilities- Assist the physician by adhering to all directives and protocols.
- Welcome and engage with patients in a friendly manner.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Coordinate scheduling for patient follow-up visits.
- Oversee passive therapy management, including the application of heat and ice packs, and assigning therapy beds.
- Facilitate active therapy by demonstrating and supervising exercises and stretches.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapies and patient progress in electronic health records.
- Record patient symptoms, medical history, and vital signs during intake assessments.
- Perform basic administrative tasks as required.
The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM. The current shift available is from 1 PM to 7 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts.
Additional Duties- Support patients with their exercise routines.
- Document daily notes for each patient.
- Upload necessary documentation into patient medical files.
- Assist in managing non-compliant patient cases with guidance from supervisors.
- Ensure patients are scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
- Maintain the accuracy of patient logs and databases.
- Demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record systems and Google Docs.
- Communicate regularly with clinic staff and physicians.
- Maintain and care for clinic equipment.
- Implement best practices in all job functions.
- Exhibit self-direction and attention to detail.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment for patients and colleagues.
- Respond promptly to communications.
- Complete tasks efficiently and within expected timelines.
- Adhere to clinic protocols and training materials.
- Utilize timekeeping and scheduling systems effectively.
- Arrange for coverage during absences.
- Accept constructive feedback for professional growth.
- Deliver excellent customer service and contribute ideas for system improvements.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
