Job Summary

The Onsite Employee Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities related to Event and Post Event shift work. This includes ensuring employee compliance with event policies, safety guidelines, and reporting performance and attendance policies.

This role requires strong leadership skills to supervise and effectively manage up to 80 diverse employees during a shift. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be highly adaptable to quick changes and redirection as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure employees are checked in, clocked in and clocked out during Event and/or Post Event shifts
  • Provide debriefing/orientation at the beginning of each shift to discuss event policies and expectations
  • Perform pinpoint checks on staff to ensure they are in their assigned areas and performing their assigned duties
  • Address any performance concerns during the shift and de-escalate any concerns the client may have with an LOD Employee
  • Provide shift report to share with Account Manager to include the number of candidates clocked in, the number of staff that were turned away, all concerns or issues that were presented during shift and/or any changes to the order request
  • Complete incident or accident reports
  • Provide effective communication between all staff, leads and management during shift
Requirements
  • Must be flexible with shift. Event days will vary, and shifts will vary depending on venue and event. Total shift hours will vary from 6-10 hours for each shift.
  • Must be bilingual. (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass drug screening
  • Must have strong leadership skills to supervise and effectively manage up to 80 diverse employees during a shift
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be highly adaptable to quick changes and redirection as needed
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision to manage workload efficiently and take initiative when needed
  • Strong attendance and punctuality
  • Must have excellent professional communication skills to interact with staff and client management
  • Must be proficient with computers/tablet for reporting purposes, knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Work required
  • Knowledge of how to operate basic cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and mops
  • Ability to notice areas that require cleaning or maintenance and address them appropriately
  • Knowledge of how to use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to a certain weight (usually 25-50 pounds)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion, such as sweeping, mopping, or wiping surfaces
Working Environment

There may be exposure to chemical hazards and strong chemical smells. There may be exposure to respiratory hazards such as dust and allergens. They may be exposure to bodily fluids. Are often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handling, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/Kneel, bend, push and pull frequently. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on work surface
  • Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 50 pounds, including pressing against something to force it in a forward, downward or outward position or drag, haul 25 to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending spine at waist, and bending legs at knees and moving extremities in any direction
  • Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day
  • Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, including where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly
  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
