Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
  • Assure that patient treatment is monitored and coordinated in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Document patient care in accordance with established clinical quality and compliance standards.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and promote wellness and health maintenance.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the physician by identifying patient care issues and recommending solutions.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a medical internship and medical residency at an accredited medical facility in dermatology.
  • 2-3 years of experience working as an established Physician Assistant in general dermatology.
  • 1-2 years of experience performing surgical dermatology and/or Mohs experience.
