Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at PACE Southeast Michigan, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitative services to our participants.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with PACE Southeast Michigan, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote independence, functional ability, and overall well-being for our participants.

You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. Your expertise will be crucial in helping participants regain physical or mental functioning and adjust to their disabilities.

  • Assess participant needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to promote skill development and independence
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of participant progress
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss participant outcomes and plan future interventions
Requirements

To succeed as an Occupational Therapist with PACE Southeast Michigan, you must possess:

  • A professional degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Licensure to practice in Michigan
  • At least two years of experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
