Position: Education Specialist
Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Role Summary: We are looking for a committed and experienced Education Specialist to provide tailored support to students with special needs. This full-time position involves working collaboratively within a push-in model, assisting a diverse group of students with a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute individualized education programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique requirements of students.
  • Deliver specialized instruction and assistance within an inclusive classroom setting.
  • Work closely with general education teachers, families, and school administrators to foster student achievement.
  • Conduct evaluations and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive and current records using the Special Education Information System (SEIS).
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to strategize and enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
  • A valid Teaching Credential in California with an Education Specialist authorization.
  • Expertise in SEIS (Special Education Information System).
  • Experience in assessment administration and IEP development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Days: Monday - Friday

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Direct hire with benefits determined by experience and educational background.
  • Entry-Level (0-2 years): $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
  • Mid-Level (3-5 years): $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
  • Experienced (6+ years): $80,000 - $90,000+ annually.
