Position: Process Engineer

Role Overview:

The Process Engineer at Ecolab Inc. is integral to the dynamic and cooperative Process Engineering team. This role involves comprehensively understanding, analyzing, and enhancing production systems. The Process Engineer works closely with essential stakeholders, including production operators, maintenance teams, and planning departments. The primary objective is to meet site and organizational goals concerning safety, operational performance, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and customer satisfaction.

The Process Engineer functions as an individual contributor with a focus on specific production systems. Key responsibilities encompass acquiring knowledge of chemical processes, fostering relationships with operators, and effectively communicating performance metrics and challenges. Additionally, the role includes ensuring a safe working environment, executing process modifications, and collaborating with various stakeholders to boost unit efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate unit performance to ensure optimal operations.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with operators to address and resolve issues.
  • Analyze operational challenges and provide actionable solutions.
  • Support capital projects aimed at enhancing production capabilities.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate is analytical, possesses strong communication skills, and is focused on delivering results. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence are essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in equipment design, process development, and optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Demonstrated capability to lead technically oriented projects.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Experience in a Process Safety Management (PSM) environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
