A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations and Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Security and Maintenance: Maintain the security and networking of enterprise boundary enclaves and devices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  • Routing and Switching: Configure and troubleshoot Juniper and Cisco routers and switches, including implementing routing updates and ensuring optimal network performance.
  • Firewall Management: Implement new firewall rules and associated routing to fulfill firewall change requests, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal network uptime and availability.
  • Incident Response: Provide real-time monitoring and alerting of security incident investigations on perimeter/internal infrastructure, ensuring prompt response and resolution of security incidents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with IT staff on projects and initiatives, providing input for monthly progress and status reporting of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and working with corresponding technical support teams to resolve network traffic concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 16 years of experience in network operations and maintenance, with a combination of work history and education.
  • Certifications: Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
  • Skills: Experience in configuring and troubleshooting boundary protection technologies, such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Forcepoint appliances; experience with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VPN's, VRF's, MPLS; working knowledge of boundary protection best practices; understanding of routing, switching, Internet Protocol (IP) subnet, Network Address Translation (NAT) and security technologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly.
