Job Title: Network Engineering Analyst

Kingfisher Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineering Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide analytical support to various internal customers, addressing complex telecommunications challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers and team members to provide timely and accurate network analysis, identifying logical and physical routes of key telecommunications networks.
  • Evaluate the role and value of potential network operations, applying expertise in network operations, principles, and best practices.
  • Employ advanced knowledge of network technologies, protocols, systems, and equipment to support the team in providing direct mapping and graphics inputs into the customer's modeling tool.
  • Perform analysis on wireless and wireline circuit-switched and packet-switched telecommunications networks, transmission protocols, and network technologies.
  • Present analysis to technical and non-technical audiences, serving as a focal point for tracking and understanding emerging technologies.
  • Maintain current technical training to ensure skills and tradecraft are kept up-to-date with evolving technology.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six (6) years of commercial experience in one of the following roles: Facility Engineer or Network Planner, Large-scale networking engineering, or Core network engineer/Radio network engineer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Network Management Systems (NMS), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), or Software Defined Networking (SDN).
  • Strong understanding of network elements, including switches, routers, multiplexers, and wireless and wireline transport infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of network technologies, protocols, systems, and equipment, including Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), Data networks (IP, MPLS, traffic engineering, Open Flow), and Dedicated/private communications networks.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the OSI model at layer 1, 2, or 3.
  • Private sector work experience with an industry-leading telco or hardware provider.
Desired Certifications:
  • CCNA or CCNP certification.
