Recovery Corps is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of Recovery Navigators. As someone who has experienced the journey of recovery, you can empower others to build a healthy life through mentoring, peer support, and resource navigation. Join our mission to address the growing issue of substance use and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to maintain their progress in recovery
  • Provide mentoring and peer support, leveraging your own recovery experience
  • Assist clients in navigating social service resources and programs
  • Participate in comprehensive skills-based training and professional development
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to promote confidence and agency in their recovery
  • Gain valuable professional experience while embedded in a local recovery organization
  • Share your experience as a Recovery Corps ambassador
Requirements
  • At least one uninterrupted year of recovery from a substance use disorder by the start date
  • Age 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Dependable and good attendance history
  • Able to understand and follow instructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, internet searches, data entry, email communication, and videoconferencing
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
  • Able to successfully complete a background check
