Nurse Clinician III Outpatient

UTMB Health seeks a skilled and compassionate Nurse Clinician III to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the daily care of assigned patients.
Essential Job Functions- Assess patients' care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Execute physicians' orders and administer medications and treatments.
- Deliver culturally congruent and specialty-appropriate nursing care.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures/skills in the assigned specialty area.
- Plan, coordinate, and prioritize patient care activities.
- Adhere to internal controls and perform related duties as required.
This position is located within the confines of a prison, jail, or juvenile detention center. Security clearance is required, and pre-employment drug testing is also necessary.
Required Education/ExperienceA Registered Nurse (RN) with two years of clinical RN experience is required. Must possess and maintain a current license or valid permit to practice in Texas. Current BLS-HP is also required.
This is an open-pooled position, and applicants' education/experience will be considered. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
