About the Role

Riverside Research Institute is seeking a highly experienced Senior Targeting Subject Matter Expert to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting research on policy, process, and technologies needed to enhance the Space Targeting Enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and experiential insights into the current state of conventional targeting policies, processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Conduct research and lead a focused study on policy, process, tools, and technologies needed for the space targeting enterprise.
  • Guide development of strategic initiatives or plans; provide recommended courses of action for implementation.
  • Review written products or assessments created by others; suggest edits, additional findings, or alternative solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with government and contract mission partners across the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Coordinate recurring or one-time meetings, working groups, or project teams; prepare minutes, track status of various projects, draft white papers/briefings and present recommendations to decision makers as required.
Requirements
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI adjudication; willingness to obtain SAP access.
  • Bachelor's degree in international affairs, business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields.
  • Intelligence professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle in both the air & space domains.
  • Certified targeteer through recognized service or joint course (e.g. USAF Combat Targeting Course, Joint Targeting School, etc...).
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mission, structure and operations of the IC, DoD, services, and combatant commands.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior leaders within the Air Force, the Space Force, the Intelligence Community, and Department of Defense.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction.
  • Experience managing resources (time, people, money) to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Open to occasional travel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree in international affairs, business administration, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science, physics, math, history, or related fields.
  • Intelligence professional with a minimum of 20 years' experience supporting all aspects of the intelligence cycle in both the air & space domains.
Compensation

This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
