Overview:
Sigma Defense is in search of a seasoned Training Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead training initiatives related to sea-launched attack missile exercises and Tomahawk land attack missile operations.
Role Expectations:
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and expertise, having developed a strong foundation in training methodologies and operational support. This role is pivotal in fostering effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the integrity of training objectives while maintaining a comprehensive knowledge base aligned with contractual requirements.
2. Act as a catalyst for the development and assessment of training requirements.
3. Provide expert guidance and insights to support programs and leadership across all levels, including senior military and civilian personnel.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in relevant fields, including:
- Subject matter expertise in task requirements (e.g., Academics, Warfare Areas, Program or Policy support).
- Training management and curriculum development.
- Conducting assessments to identify training needs and solutions.
- Delivering training both in-person and online.
- Designing and modifying training scenarios and managing training projects.
- 5 years of experience specifically in TLAM programs, including all major phases of TLAM training events.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Candidates without a degree must have 10 years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must hold an active DoD issued Top Secret security clearance, with TS/SCI required for this position.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate TLAM exercise and certification schedules.
- Collaborate with exercise planners and directors from partner organizations during the execution of synthetic training events.
- Develop and manage TLAM certification program requirements and scenarios.
- Conduct proficiency assessments for certification purposes.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
- Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life coverage, 401(k) with company matching, and generous paid time off.
