Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness in all designated areas, including but not limited to resident rooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, hallways, nursing stations, handrails, dining areas, shower rooms, public restrooms, and offices as assigned.

Ensure that all railings in your designated area are wiped down daily and that all assigned areas are dusted and mopped, moving furniture as necessary.

Keep utility and storage areas organized and tidy.

Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies regularly.

Dust furniture and equipment thoroughly.

Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed.

Clean the interior of resident room windows, door panels, and sills.

Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the designated disposal area.

At the end of each shift, restock the housekeeping cart, ensuring it remains organized and that chemicals are securely stored when not in use.

Adhere to established safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals, using them as directed.
