We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Safety Telecommunicator Trainee. As a trainee, you will receive close supervision and training to respond to emergency calls and dispatch units to response sites.

**Responsibilities:**

* Respond to emergency calls and dispatch units to response sites
* Work under close supervision as a trainee and productive worker
* Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications and Skills:**

* Completion of one of the following courses: APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator, IAED Emergency Telecommunicator Communications, or NECI Emergency Communications Officer
* Emergency Medical Dispatch certification (NJ EMD program)
* CPR Basic Life Support Card certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

**Other Requirements:**

* Must be a NJ resident and a legal resident of the USA
* Must possess a HS diploma or equivalent
* Must be 18 years of age
* Must pass a thorough background investigation, psychological and medical exam
* Must possess a valid NJ drivers license
