Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance by ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards are met. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and providing a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and restock products in their designated areas.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment, including mixing cleaning solutions according to specifications.
  • Deep clean key areas, such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Keep cleaning equipment organized and notify supervisors of supply needs in advance.
  • Initiate cleaning tasks and complete all assigned tasks by supervisors.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Maintain positive interactions with team members and customers, adhering to the organization's vision and values.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni-channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work.
