Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Colorectal Associates of Central. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing a plan of care for individual patients, utilizing your expertise in current nursing practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide Clinical Support: Assist providers with in-office procedures, monitor patients for side effects or reactions, and document any changes in patient conditions.
  • Manage Clinical Staffing: Oversee clinical staffing for two office locations, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operations.
  • Facilitate Communication: Serve as the clinical point of contact for LPNs and Medical Assistants, providing guidance and support on medical questions and concerns.
  • Schedule Surgical Procedures: Collaborate with office surgical schedulers to facilitate surgical patient scheduling with hospitals and outpatient surgery centers.
Requirements
  • Current RN License: Possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
  • Experience and Education: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred, with a strong background in healthcare operations and management.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and client care skills, with the ability to lead and manage clinical staff effectively.
  • Certifications: Possess valid drivers license and First aid/CPR certification.
