Position Overview

The Administration, a division of Mathys+Potestio, is seeking a Senior Receivables Accountant to oversee the accounts receivable operations. This role is critical in ensuring the precision and effectiveness of the billing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute complex billing calculations and collections.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of billing data to identify trends and discrepancies, ensuring data integrity.
  • Generate invoices and establish billing schedules while accurately recording incoming payments.
  • Review and verify transaction postings and reconciliations completed by team members for accuracy.
  • Facilitate the upload and processing of billing and payment files into the corporate financial systems.
  • Prepare standard and custom reports for management review, adhering to accounting standards and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement improvements as necessary.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with complex billing processes for large clientele.
  • Proficiency in SAP is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an hourly rate of $49.36. Additional benefits may include paid time off, health and dental insurance, and 401(k) options based on service length and hours worked.
