Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant II to join our Cardiology Clinic team. As a Medical Office Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, plan implementation, and care coordination.
  • Order, interpret, and record results of clinical tests, and report to physicians as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and responding to phone calls and messages.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, with a focus on cardiology or cardiovascular care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) systems.
