Job Overview:

Guidehouse is seeking a highly skilled Legal & Administrative Consultant to join our litigation and investigative practice area in the Public Sector. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to lawyers, paralegals, and other administrative staff in a law firm environment. This role requires a self-starter with excellent judgment and discretion to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with a broad array of legal support matters, including preparing court documents and communications.

Use independent decision-making and good judgment to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.

Work with little-to-no supervision, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Coordinate intake of new cases and requests for work on existing cases, tracking progress and reporting to case teams.

Prepare files for hearings and trials, assemble binders, pack, and prepare information for delivery.

Provide front-of-office support, including telephone services, visitor escort assistance, and document preparation.

Requirements:

An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET federal security clearance.

Five (5) or more years of legal/clerical experience in a law firm, Government legal practice, or court of justice.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Adaptive and flexible work style with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
