Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in fabrication.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct supervision of department personnel, functioning as a hands-on leader.
  • Ensure timely completion of departmental deadlines and proper training on fabrication systems.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize tasks based on production schedules.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments of team members.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings to communicate safety protocols and production updates.
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on safety in all operations.
  • Perform material take-offs as needed.
  • Guarantee the quality of all materials and products processed in the fabrication department.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints and sketches accurately.

Essential Skills:
  • Basic rigging knowledge, including the use of straps, shackles, and rigging points.
  • Experience with hand tools and reference materials.
  • Ability to pass an open root 6G pipe test in both carbon and stainless steel.
  • Familiarity with the fabrication process and equipment such as breakers and ironworkers; plasma table experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of sandblasting and painting techniques.
  • Adhere to instructions and undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
