Job Summary

The Outside Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of Outside Territory Managers to achieve sales goals and drive business results in assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Outside Territory Managers to maximize sales performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel regularly with OTMs to provide hands-on support, guidance, and coaching to ensure team success.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to resolve internal and customer issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
  • Provide product and sales training to the team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive improvement.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and other sanctioned functions, showcasing our brand and values.
  • Ensure proper use of company systems, including SalesForce, Syteline, and Ring Central, and provide training and feedback to the team.
Requirements
  • Four-year college degree preferred, but may be waived based on related job experience.
  • Seven (7) years of proven field sales experience leading a team, with a strong track record of sales success.
  • Prior experience in the equipment or attachment industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business results and improve processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
Work Environment

The Outside Sales Manager will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular travel to dealer sites and company offices. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, and management.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a strong track record of sales success, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving business results and improving processes.
